Hand building is a pottery technique that uses the hands and simple tools to create simple ceramic forms. Some techniques include pinch pottery, coil building, and slab building.

Included in this two hour session is 1kg of Clay per guest along with all the tools you require to make two handmade mugs if you wish. However during this two hour session you are free to let your imagination run wild and create anything you desire with your clay. Everything made during the workshop will be fired in the kiln and you have the option of having your pottery dipped in a white glaze (included in the ticket cost) or returning to the studio at a later date to one of our “pottery painting mornings” to glaze your makes! (Additional fee)
